Parkway Adds New Architectural Capability

Parkway Construction announced the addition of its Architectural Design Group to broaden the services offered to its growing customer base.

With an initial staffing of 6 senior professionals, the focus of the group will be to provide a comprehensive service of Design–Build to those clients requiring a single point of contact on a project.

“More and more of our new concept clients are looking at a one stop shop when they initiate their programs,” said Vaughan Hancock, Partner at Parkway.

This additional capability provides tremendous value in a number of ways. Initially during the design phase, 3-D models allows the project to be reviewed and fully costed. Multiple options can be assessed, with different materials and components, to ensure that the end result is of the highest quality and within the budget of the client. From here the bid process becomes more streamlined, often allowing the start dates to be pulled forward due to the clarity of communication and thorough understanding of requirements. Collaboration with subcontractors is also greatly enhanced, providing them with the opportunity to add value, and reduce costs as the entire Parkway team is completely familiar with the goal of the client.
